This 1949 Lord Elgin captures the refined styling of the post war era with its curved tank case, applied gold Arabic numerals, and recessed small seconds to create a timeless Art Deco-inspired design. Better yet, it retains its original matching bracelet, a feature that’s becoming increasingly difficult to find. Powered by its original manual wind movement, this watch was watchmaker serviced in June 2026 and is running well. The 10K gold-filled case shows honest vintage wear consistent with its age, while the dial has developed its own patina and character. The original presentation engraving on the case back dates the watch to June 9, 1949, adding another authentic piece of its history.
