Missing screw on one of the gears doesn’t affect the function of the watch.

Taylor signed movement with Patent Pinion and Adjusted markings. Movement serial number 309171 dates production to 1874. The watch is currently running. It is missing the crystal. The original enamel dial has a crack around the seconds register and a small edge chip. The coin silver case shows honest age-related wear with evidence of an old removed monogram on the back. Please review all photos carefully for condition and cosmetic details. A desirable early American pocket watch that would make an excellent addition to any Elgin or antique watch collection.
